You’ll be exploring, relaxing, and making memories that will stick with you forever. This trip is all about having fun, meeting new people, and experiencing the best of coastal and country Australia. We promise you’ll walk away feeling like you’ve seen the real Australia. So, pack your bags, bring your sense of adventure, and let’s hit the road together! Day 1: Brisbane to Port Macquarie via Byron Bay

We kick off the trip with a bang! From Brisbane, we’re driving down to the legendary Byron Bay. Our first pit stop? The Farm Cafe, a charming place where you can savour delicious coffee and mouthwatering meat pies. We’ll then stop at the famous Cape Byron Lighthouse — the most easterly point of Australia’s mainland. You’ll get those Insta-worthy snaps with breathtaking views of the ocean, it is likely to spot dolphins playing below. After soaking up the Byron magic, we’ll stroll down to Byron Bay’s Main Beach. Perfect spot to feel the sand between your toes and maybe take a quick dip. But we’ve still got more to go, so we hit the road again to Port Macquarie, we may stop at Killem Falls if time is on our side. We should arrive at your accommodation later in the afternoon and enjoy a delicious dinner with your new travel buddies.


Day 2: Port Macquarie to Sydney

Rise and shine because today’s destination is none other than sensational Sydney! But first, we’ll explore a bit of Port Macquarie's coast with a stop at Town Beach before heading south. Along the way, we’ll break for morning tea. Stretch your legs, grab a quick coffee. We should roll into your Central Sydney hotel just after midday Once you check into the hotel, the day is yours, free to enjoy the best of Sydney! Whether it’s a sunset walk by the Sydney Opera House or grabbing a bite at Circular Quay, Sydney will leave you buzzing.


Day 3 & Day 4: Free Days in Sydney

You’ve got two full days to do whatever you like in Sydney. Seriously, the city is just amazing! You can spend the morning soaking up some rays at Bondi Beach, grab brunch at one of the chic cafes in The Rocks, or take a stroll through the lush Royal Botanic Gardens. If you’re into shopping, Queen Victoria Building is calling your name, with its beautiful architecture and cool boutiques. And if you’re feeling a little adventurous, why not take the ferry over to Manly Beach or walk the Sydney Harbour Bridge? Don't worry if you're not sure where to start - we've got tons of itinerary ideas to match your interests. Whether you're into art, culture, nature, food, or just soaking up the city vibe, Sydney's got it all.


Day 5: Sydney to Tamworth

After your exciting three days in Sydney, we’ll shift gears and head inland to Tamworth on the new England Highway. Along the way, we’ll be passing Hunter Valley — famous for its wineries. If you’re into a little wine tasting, this is the spot! Then it’s off to Tamworth, we should arrive around midday, giving you time to explore the beautiful tree-lined main street and grab a bite to eat. Fancy seeing the famous Golden Guitar or checking out the impressive equestrian facility? We've got you covered! We'll also take you up to the lookout for some stunning views before settling into your comfy accommodation for the night.


Day 6: Tamworth to Stanthorpe

Today, we're heading north again, into the rolling hills of Stanthorpe, known for its quaint charm and wineries. Along the way, we’ll stop at the historic town of Armidale for a little peek into Australia’s heritage. When we arrive in Stanthorpe, you’ll have a chance to explore the Granite Belt wine region. This is where things slow down a bit, perfect for unwinding, grabbing a glass of wine, and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.


Day 7: Stanthorpe to Brisbane

Our adventure wraps up today as we make our way back to Brisbane. We’ll drive through Cunningham's Gap, where you’ll catch some of the most spectacular views of the granite boulders and open landscapes, arriving back in Brisbane early afternoon. It’s a bittersweet end, but you’ll leave with a bunch of new friends and memories to last a lifetime!
