This tour is all about a great day out on the Gold Coast. We kick things off with a relaxing stroll at Surfers Paradise Main Beach where you can soak in the sun and energy of the coast. Then we head up to the SkyPoint Deck at Q1 to enjoy the best views in Queensland. After that it is time for a proper fish and chips lunch at Charis Seafood, right by the water. In the afternoon you will jump in for a fun and easy surf lesson with one of the best local teams. To top it all off we stop in at Yatala for a hot pie on the way back to Brisbane. It is a day that is relaxed local and full of those little moments that make you smile.

You have the choice of either a luxurious 4-seater full-size sedan, ideal for up to 3 adults and 1 child, or a Mercedes mini bus for up to 11 people. We also partner with other reputable tour operators to offer comfortable minivans, as well as larger buses and luxury coaches for group travel.

We kick off at Surfers Paradise, and trust me, it’s more than just a name. You will feel the energy straight away with the sound of the waves, the sea breeze and that laid back Gold Coast vibe. There is time to wander the beach, grab a coffee if you fancy one, or just sit and take in the views. It is the perfect way to settle into the day.

No road trip is complete without a stop at the famous Yatala Pie Shop! Known for their golden, flaky crusts and hearty fillings, Yatala pies are a Queensland institution. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic steak pie or something more adventurous, this spot is perfect for a delicious, satisfying treat. Grab a pie, stretch your legs, and experience a true Aussie tradition.

⚲ 3.  Charis Seafood Lunch by the Broadwater

This is not your average lunch stop. Charis Seafood is a proper local gem where the fish is always fresh and the seagulls are always lurking. We sit by the Broadwater, watching the pelicans while digging into fish and chips that hit the spot every time. It is casual, no fuss and very Gold Coast. Perfect spot to relax before the afternoon kicks off.

In the afternoon it is time to hit the water. Whether you have never touched a board or you are giving it another go, the team at Get Wet make it easy and fun. They are friendly, patient and know how to get you up and standing in no time. You will laugh, fall, maybe ride a wave or two, and come away feeling stoked you gave it a go. It is always a great vibe out there.

⚲ 5.  Famous Yatala Pie Shop on the Way Home

We wrap up the day with a quick visit to Yatala Pies, a true Queensland favourite. This is the kind of pie stop that locals swear by. You can grab a classic beef pie or something a bit fancy, whatever you are in the mood for. It is a nice way to end the day on a tasty note before cruising back to Brisbane.
